Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, RAMPAGE JACKSON!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Williams!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails with the takedown.
JACKSON throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A combination from JACKSON does no damage.
JACKSON stuffs the takedown.

JACKSON has Williams up against the cage in a clinch.
Williams is stalling here.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
JACKSON with a body punch. A glancing blow.

JACKSON gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for JACKSON.

JACKSON breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
JACKSON leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
RAMPAGE JACKSON has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Williams.

Nice takedown defense from JACKSON. No joy for Williams on that attempt.

JACKSON shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as JACKSON controls the pace.

JACKSON wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position.
JACKSON passes Williams's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Well, if JACKSON is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
JACKSON lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.

JACKSON is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

JACKSON postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Williams to stand up.

JACKSON closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage.

JACKSON is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Williams can't fight it off and eventually JACKSON manages to take the fight to the floor. Williams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
JACKSON is looking to work some ground and pound but Williams has wrist control.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with JACKSON. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

JACKSON is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

JACKSON is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
JACKSON advances to half guard.

JACKSON gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
JACKSON misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by JACKSON.

JACKSON changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
JACKSON advances nicely into full mount.
Williams tries to reverse the position but JACKSON maintains control.

JACKSON is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Williams is surviving well by controlling JACKSON's body position as best he can.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
JACKSON is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Williams can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

RAMPAGE JACKSON dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


JACKSON shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
JACKSON misses with a low kick.
JACKSON shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Williams lands a head kick. JACKSON smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
JACKSON is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

JACKSON stands and steps away. Williams gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
JACKSON wants to clinch.
Williams wants to clinch.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.

JACKSON shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williams napping and manages to drive through into side control!

JACKSON is chipping away with strikes.
JACKSON wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working.

JACKSON goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Williams rolls with the submission and now he's on top in JACKSON's guard! Nice work there by Williams!

JACKSON has his feet on Williams's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RAMPAGE JACKSON. That's going to take a lot out of him.

JACKSON fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but JACKSON persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
JACKSON wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs.

RAMPAGE JACKSON overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Williams moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
JACKSON slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

JACKSON lands a nice hook to Williams's body. Williams takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
JACKSON clinches but Williams breaks the clinch
and Williams counters with a good, hard body kick but JACKSON shrugs it off.

so JACKSON counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

JACKSON wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

JACKSON is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
JACKSON is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
JACKSON postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it.
Williams wants to sweep but no luck.
JACKSON trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
JACKSON passes into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

JACKSON is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time JACKSON.
JACKSON passes the guard and advances to mount!
JACKSON with shots to the head and body - Williams looks very uncomfortable down there.

And that's the end of the fight!
RAMPAGE JACKSON showed his dominance in that final round.
Well JACKSON has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
