Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasara Markku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman -Metallica. Mike Driver could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vasara Markku's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver throws and low kick but Markku moves out of range easily.
Markku tries to bum rush Driver with a series of wild strikes but Driver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Markku drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Markku trying to control but Driver is working from the bottom.
Driver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Markku is one step ahead there.
Markku must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Markku feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Markku throws and elbow that misses. Driver uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Markku's guard. Nice move by Driver!

Driver drops back, looking for a kneebar! Markku looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Markku looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Markku!
Driver takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Driver wants to control but Markku postures up.
Markku wants to lay and pray for a moment but Driver keeps working.

Markku might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Driver kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Markku lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Markku tries to score with some ground and pound. Driver controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Markku wants to control but Driver is keeping him busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Markku shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Driver napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Markku lands a nice forearm strike.

Vasara Markku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Markku throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Driver.
Markku gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Markku misses with a two punch combination.
Markku fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Driver sprawls well initially but Markku persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
