Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Darke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Darke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Running Up That Hill by Placibo. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damien Darke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heath Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darke's waist but Darke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side.
Sanchez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Darke swivels and escapes.
Darke misses with a series of wild punches.
Darke throws a hook to the side of Sanchez's head but Sanchez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Darke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sanchez shoots for a double leg takedown but Darke sprawls well. He's pushed Sanchez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Damien Darke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heath Sanchez.

Darke takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Darke throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Sanchez stumbling backwards into the cage! Sanchez bounces back off the cage towards Darke, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Darke lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Darke celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
