SILVEIRA kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hino Rio Grandense. MARCO SILVEIRA has the better chin. Vlay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but SILVEIRA is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Vlay decides to take the fight back to the feet.
SILVEIRA tries to close the distance and clinch but Vlay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
MARCO SILVEIRA seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
SILVEIRA loads up on a big right hand but Vlay slips the punch.
Vlay pushes SILVEIRA up against the cage in a clinch.
Vlay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vlay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vlay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vlay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

SILVEIRA is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vlay has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. SILVEIRA is looking to defend but Vlay has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for SILVEIRA! Vlay pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, SILVEIRA taps out and this one is all over!
