PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orion Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Go Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Orion Cook has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Orion Cook seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto slips under a jab.

Cook has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yamamoto tries to roll over but Cook keeps him under control.

Cook is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Yamamoto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cook.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Yamamoto fakes the leg kick and cracks Cook in the body.

Yamamoto throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Yamamoto's corner calls for a 1-2. Yamamoto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Cook checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Cook uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yamamoto.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Orion Cook.
