The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basilicus throws a solid leg kick but Morisawa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Basilicus.
Basilicus throws a sloppy head kick and Morisawa moves out of range easily.
Basilicus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Basilicus tries to land a front kick but Morisawa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Basilicus leaves Morisawa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Morisawa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Basilicus - the referee stops the clock and Morisawa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Basilicus. Morisawa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
