Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanji Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook misses with a head kick.
Cook connects with a solid leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cook.
Cook misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cook tries a head kick but it misses.
Cook lands with a kick to the temple. Mica shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Cook lands a front kick.
Cook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cook throws a head kick that Mica semi-blocks.
Cook lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cook throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cook fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mica.
Cook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cook lands a high kick!
Cook throws the kick towards the body but Mica avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cook avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mica takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mica takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cook throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mica is breathing heavily.
Cook misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mica on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cook. Cook obviously looking to wear him down.
Cook throws a head kick that half lands.

Cook buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cook throws a front kick that sends Mica stumbling back into the cage.
Cook connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Cook lands a head kick. Mica smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

A thudding body kick lands there by Cook!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mica stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cook.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cook.
Cook lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cook dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mica. That did some damage!
Mica steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cook. That one must have hurt.
Cook lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mica takes a step back to recover.
Mica will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Cook lands a big head kick that sends Mica tumbling to the mat! Cook takes a step backwards and waves Mica back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mica is rocked!

It looks like Chris Mica has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mica crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cook - the referee stops the clock and Mica gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cook. Mica manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cook throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Oh Mica is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Cook - that's a beauty! Mica is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Cook can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
