Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eleandor Stubbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aviram Gilad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Eleandor Stubbs has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eleandor Stubbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aviram Gilad!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stubbs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gilad paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gilad shoots in and drives through. Stubbs sprawls well.
Stubbs fails with the takedown

and Gilad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gilad landing some decent shots from guard.
Stubbs looking for a sweep. Not yet Stubbs, not yet.

Gilad postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stubbs is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gilad, into his guard.

Gilad looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Stubbs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gilad has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stubbs has managed to get both his arms back between Gilad's legs - danger averted.

Gilad is looking for a triangle but Stubbs pushes his legs off easily.
Stubbs trying to control the position from guard on top but Gilad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gilad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stubbs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gilad is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stubbs is aware though and is defending well.
Gilad looks gassed!
Stubbs wants to control from the top but Gilad keeps moving.
Gilad wants to sweep but no luck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gilad keeping full guard, as Stubbs tries to pass.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gilad cracks the inside of Stubbs's front leg.
Stubbs shoots and misses

and Gilad counters with a takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Stubbs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gilad lands a nice forearm strike.
Stubbs is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gilad off and has taken his back!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gilad is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

You can see the frustration on Gilad's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gilad trying to control the hands but Stubbs breaks the grip.
Gilad is really stuck here.
Stubbs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Will Stubbs go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Gilad breaks Stubbs's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stubbs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gilad's guard.
Gilad throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Gilad has an active guard here but Stubbs has managed to pass into half guard.

Gilad looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Stubbs pushes past his half guard into mount!

Stubbs looking to control but Gilad is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Stubbs blocks Gilad's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Gilad keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gilad is trying to reverse the position but instead Stubbs has taken his back - oops!

Gilad won't enjoy being in this position. Stubbs looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Gilad is tapping - it's over boys! Stubbs picks up the submission victory!
