The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stubbs scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stubbs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zampietre as he jumps to the side.
A left and a right from Stubbs both land. Nice combination.
Zampietre on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Stubbs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zampietre's half guard.

Stubbs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zampietre pinned against the cage. Zampietre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Horrible takedown by Stubbs or perhaps it was just good defense by Zampietre which made him look bad.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jeffe Zampietre will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stubbs gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zampietre to score an easy takedown into full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Stubbs tries to control but Zampietre wriggling away.
Stubbs sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Stubbs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Stubbs has control of Zampietre's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zampietre regains control of the situation pretty easily.
