Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Dourado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rudell Crim!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crim looks to land a left hand but Dourado moved out of range nicely.
Crim looks to throw the jab but Dourado is out of range.
Dourado moves out of range as Crim strikes.
Dourado tries to clinch up.

It looks like Marcelo Dourado has been cut.
Crim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crim wants it to stay on the feet.
Dourado fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Crim misses its intended target.

Crim throws a hook but Dourado avoids it easily.

Dourado uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crim.
Dourado dives in and grabs Crim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crim pushes down on Dourado's head and hops out.

Crim misses with a hook.
Crim might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Crim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dourado did well to prevent Crim getting side control.
Crim seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dourado wants to control but Crim is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dourado manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Crim stands up over Dourado, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Crim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dourado has his foot on Crim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crim works his way back into a safe position though.

Dourado looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dourado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Crim defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dourado controls Crim momentarily but Crim frees himself.
Crim slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Crim distracts Dourado with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Crim seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dourado is looking for a triangle but Crim pushes his legs off easily.
Crim chips away with some ground and pound.

Crim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dourado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crim has managed to get both his arms back between Dourado's legs - danger averted.

Dourado is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Crim is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Crim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Rudell Crim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dourado with a poor takedown
and Crim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Crim missing with a left hand there. Dourado was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dourado shoots in but no luck this time.

Crim sends Dourado crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Crim is motioning to the referee to let Dourado up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Dourado is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dourado. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crim is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Dourado is in big trouble! Crim is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Dourado. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Rudell Crim!
