Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Pato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Through the Fire Flames- Dragonforce. Carlos Pato will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pato tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Johnson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson scores with a couple of short elbows.
Pato is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Johnson wants to control but Pato is keeping him busy.
Pato takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pato some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
