Johnson comes into the arena with If you smell what the rock is cookin'... blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Waters has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.

Waters has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from.

Waters tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.

Waters decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Johnson leaves Waters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Waters moves into the clinch.

Waters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Waters counters with a takedown into side control.
Waters is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Waters has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Waters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Johnson's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Johnson holds on and takes a little breather.

Waters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Waters is aware though and is defending well.

Waters is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
TJ Waters has got the better of the ground game so far.

Waters decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Waters shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense.
Johnson clinches but Waters breaks the clinch

and Waters holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Waters has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Johnson is trying to keep an underhook but Waters manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Waters seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Waters is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

TJ Waters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Johnson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Waters counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Waters.
Waters is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Johnson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Waters is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Johnson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Waters stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position.

Waters trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Waters avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Waters's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Waters gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting.
Waters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Johnson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Waters back into the cage.
Johnson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Waters fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Waters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Waters wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.

Waters decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Waters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee asks Waters politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Waters prefers to stall for the moment though.

Waters tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Waters stands up and beckons Johnson to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Waters tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Johnson is trying to drag Waters to the mat but Waters just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Waters pulls guard successfully.
Johnson stops Waters from standing up.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Waters keeps moving.
Dwayne Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
TJ Waters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
TJ Waters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Waters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
