Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Yarris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yarris has chosen Land Down Under as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yarris.
Howard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yarris sprawls well. Yarris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Howard gets slowly back to his feet.

Howard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yarris to the mat! Yarris manages to get full guard.

Howard shoots in for a takedown but Yarris shows good takedown defense.

Howard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Howard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
