The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarlic moves into the clinch.

Tarlic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turmiola misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tarlic lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turmiola at a distance.
Turmiola throws a head kick but Tarlic moves out of range.
Turmiola walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tarlic moves out of range as Turmiola throws a body kick.
Turmiola tries for a takedown but Tarlic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tarlic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tarlic takes the fight into the clinch.

Tarlic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Turmiola throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tarlic was covering up waiting for the punch and Turmiola finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Turmiola looks gassed!

Tarlic looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Turmiola has picked Tarlic up and slammed him! Tarlic can't keep hold of the triangle and Turmiola manages to pass to side control!

Tarlic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Tarlic lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Turmiola is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tarlic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tarlic is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
