Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kimmi Raikkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petri Pikkarainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raikkonen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Raikkonen misses with an uppercut.

Raikkonen throws a series of punches but Pikkarainen avoids them all with ease.

Pikkarainen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raikkonen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Raikkonen pushes Pikkarainen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pikkarainen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pikkarainen is trying to get an arm triangle but Raikkonen is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pikkarainen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Raikkonen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pikkarainen.

That was a close round but I would say that Kimmi Raikkonen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pikkarainen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Raikkonen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pikkarainen has Raikkonen in his guard.

Raikkonen stands up from Pikkarainen's guard - Raikkonen perhaps looking for a knockout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Raikkonen. Pikkarainen does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Pikkarainen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Raikkonen's guard now.

Raikkonen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Raikkonen tries to get out of the position.

Raikkonen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Raikkonen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pikkarainen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Raikkonen to the mat. Raikkonen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pikkarainen drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pikkarainen as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Raikkonen screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pikkarainen! Nice submission victory there!
