Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry HooHar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Safe Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harry HooHar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Safe Kid!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HooHar wants to clinch up but Kid keeps it at a distance.
HooHar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and HooHar wants it to stay on the feet.
HooHar moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
HooHar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
HooHar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
HooHar fails in his attempt to clinch.
HooHar is looking to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from HooHar. Kid does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kid takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kid working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. HooHar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. HooHar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

HooHar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kid takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
HooHar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
HooHar is pressing down on Kid's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kid is holding on for now.
Kid has hold of HooHar's hands but HooHar slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! HooHar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

HooHar breaks from the clinch.
HooHar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kid was covering up waiting for the punch and HooHar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Harry HooHar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kid had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. HooHar defends it easily.
HooHar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

HooHar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kid is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of HooHar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take HooHar's back!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
HooHar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kid paws at him with a jab and circles away.
HooHar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kid to the mat! Kid manages to get full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harry HooHar.
Well HooHar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
