Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica (Stone Cold Crazy). Jones has chosen Mushroomhead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Jones!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stone cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Stone avoids the head kick by Jones.

Stone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Stone tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Stone.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Stone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Jones dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Stone's head back.

Stone feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Stone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
