Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeremey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jeremey Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeffrey Penn !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, jeremey Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Penn fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Penn . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.
Penn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Penn somewhat.

Johnson gets the takedown into side control.
Penn stops Johnson from passing to mount.
Johnson looks up at the clock and then as Penn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Johnson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Penn 's legs.
Johnson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Johnson is working Penn over with some ground and pound from side control.
Penn is trying to get back to his feet.
Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Penn some visible discomfort.
Penn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Johnson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Johnson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Johnson landing strikes.
Johnson landing a few strikes.
Johnson cracks Penn with a big right hand but Penn just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Johnson lands an elbow.
Penn wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Johnson advances to mount.
Johnson lands a heavy elbow.

Johnson breaks from Penn 's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penn is looking to get to half guard.
Johnson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Penn tries to reverse the position but Johnson maintains control.
Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Penn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Johnson working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Penn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Penn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Penn misses with an elbow to the head.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penn . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson wants to get back to his feet.

Penn is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Johnson taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Penn .
