The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gould dips to his left and cracks Ortega with an uppercut!

Ortega gets a clinch.

Gould throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Kent Ortega has been cut.
Gould lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ortega backs up against the cage.

Ortega moves in looking to clinch but Gould pushes him off.
Kent Ortega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ortega walks into a stiff left hand from Gould.

Ortega tries to close the distance and clinch but Gould swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gould scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gould blocks a head kick by Ortega.

Ortega tries to clinch up but Gould circles away and keeps his distance.
Gould fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gould dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ortega looks gassed!
Gould lands a nice hook to Ortega's body. Ortega takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ortega takes one on the button.
Gould scores with a sloppy right hand. Ortega should have avoided that one.
Ortega takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That has opened up Kent Ortega's cut even more.
Gould lands a jab.

Gould circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ortega to the canvas! Ortega doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gould keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
