Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saul Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hudson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hudson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Hudson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hudson somewhat.
Good shot there by Jones.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Jones blocks a head kick by Hudson.
Jones lands a head shot.
Hudson doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Hudson.
Hudson fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Hudson's head.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hudson tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Hudson tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hudson walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hudson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kevin Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Hudson.
Hudson wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Hudson tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Hudson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Saul Hudson has been cut.
Hudson looks gassed!
Hudson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hudson - he's out on his feet here! Jones follows up with another monster hook that separates Hudson from consciousness! Hudson falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jones stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin Jones!
