Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phil Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OMG Zulud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by 2001 Space Odissey/Blow me away (Breaking Benjamin) combo. Zulud has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. Zulud tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zulud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
OMG Zulud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zulud misses with a hook.
A jab from Zulud finds it's way through Stone's defenses.
Zulud throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.
Stone takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Zulud blocks a low kick nicely.
Zulud fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zulud turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zulud bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Phil Stone has been cut.
Zulud throws a big shot that misses.
Stone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donk. Zulud catches Stone right on the button with a cross.

Zulud with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Zulud is looking to clinch but Stone is avoiding it.
Zulud throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.
Stone takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stone takes a swing at Zulud's ribcage but misses.
Stone moves out of range of the strikes.
Stone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Zulud cracks Stone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Stone needs to keep his hands up - Zulud had a free shot at his head there.
OMG Zulud is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zulud throws a leg kick which misses Stone's front leg but catches the back leg as Stone tries to avoid it.
Stone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Zulud works Stone's body with a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stone. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
