Krantar has chosen Lil Wayne - Lollipop as his entrance music. Jared Krantar struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Krantar.
Virta connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Krantar's hands.
Virta scores with the left hand. Krantar knows he should have avoided that one.
Virta lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Virta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A slow jab from Virta misses its intended target.
Good exchange - Virta coming out on top.
Virta misses with a two punch combination.
Virta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krantar circles away quickly and effectively.
Krantar shoots for a takedown but Virta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Virta lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krantar backs up against the cage.

It looks like Jared Krantar has been cut.
Virta throws the left hand but Krantar avoids the punch easily.
A punch lands to the side of Krantar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Virta takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Virta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Krantar shoots in for a double leg but Virta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Virta lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Krantar is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Virta has cracked Krantar with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Virta lands another huge swinging hook and Krantar tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Krantar, before Virta can land any more shots!
