Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillinger has chosen Randy Orten Theme Song as his entrance music. Marcus Dillinger is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a nice looking combination but Dillinger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dillinger looks to land a left hand but Rua moved out of range nicely.
Dillinger shoots in for a double leg but Rua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dillinger misses with a few strikes there.
Rua wants to clinch up but Dillinger keeps it at a distance.
Rua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rua moves in looking to clinch but Dillinger pushes him off.

Dillinger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dillinger lands in his opponent's guard.
Rua on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rua tries to get out of the position.

Rua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dillinger on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rua is pressed up against the cage. Dillinger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rua down to the mat. Rua avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rua, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
