The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller tries a low kick but Heijdens avoids it.
Heijdens thows a body shot but no joy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Heijdens lands a head kick. Miller smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Miller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Heijdens to the mat! Heijdens manages to get full guard.
Heijdens is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Heijdens is breathing heavily.
Miller wants to get up but he can't break Heijdens's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Heijdens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
Miller is pulling down on Heijdens's head. It's preventing any offense from Heijdens, at least for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Heijdens gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Miller lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Miller.
