Naboob comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet With Butterfly Wings. Boob Naboob has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naboob stuffs the takedown attempt from Kasper. Kasper gets slowly back to his feet.
Kasper throws a right hand that Naboob ducks under and follows up with a left that Naboob also avoids with ease.
Kasper tries to clinch but Naboob is having none of it.

Naboob is working for a guillotine from mount but Kasper frees his head quite easily.
Naboob is landing with some decent strikes but Kasper is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Naboob closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kasper to the mat! Kasper manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kasper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Naboob moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Naboob counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Naboob jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kasper walks away with a smile on his face. Naboob gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kasper moves in looking to clinch but Naboob pushes him off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kasper.
Naboob's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Naboob duly obliges.

It looks like Boob Naboob has been cut.
Naboob keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Boob Naboob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Kasper.
Kasper thuds his right hand into Naboob's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Naboob stands and steps away. Kasper gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Naboob pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kasper shoots in but no luck this time.

Kasper shoots in looking for a takedown. Naboob tries to sprawl out of it but Kasper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Naboob manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Naboob shoots for a double leg takedown but Kasper sprawls well. He's pushed Naboob's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Naboob counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kasper!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Naboob working for a submission but Kasper is keeping him at bay.
Naboob throwing strikes here but Kasper is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Naboob goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kasper is on top in guard.
Kasper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Naboob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Naboob is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kasper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Naboob did well to prevent Kasper getting side control.
Naboob is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Naboob is looking for a sweep. Kasper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, if Kasper is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
