Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartez Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Still D.R.E blaring out of the sound system. Bartez Pitbull will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pitbull can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pitbull is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.
Pitbull is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jones lands some shots froms side control.
Jones looks up at the clock and then as Pitbull takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jones smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

You get the feeling that Pitbull really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
