Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kari Korsto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Don't Fail Me Darko. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Korsto sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Korsto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Korsto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jackson tries for a takedown but Korsto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jackson tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Korsto counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Korsto is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Korsto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Korsto has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Korsto's guard.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Korsto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Korsto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Korsto working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Korsto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Korsto has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Korsto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Korsto chips away with some ground and pound.
Korsto is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Korsto has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Korsto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Korsto looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Korsto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Korsto throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely.

Korsto prevents Jackson from improving his position.
Korsto slips a nice elbow through Jackson's hands, connecting with Jackson's forehead.

Jackson is rocked!
Korsto scores with a big shot! Jackson's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jackson! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
