The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munroe clinches.

Munroe breaks the clinch.
Shcenk scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Some wild striking there from Shcenk.
Shcenk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shcenk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Munroe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Munroe is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Munroe is breathing heavily.
Munroe prevents Shcenk from standing back up.

Munroe wants to work for an arm triangle but Shcenk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Shcenk is trying to stand up here but Munroe is controlling him well.

Munroe is looking to advance position but Shcenk won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shcenk can do anything to dispel that myth.
Munroe is keen to just control but Shcenk is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shcenk closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Damian Munroe has been cut.
A left and a right from Shcenk both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shcenk throws a monster overhand right that drops Munroe! Shcenk follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
