Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stud Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stud Strangler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Huerta!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Strangler looks to land a body kick but Huerta moved away.

Huerta shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Huerta showed some decent athleticism there.
Strangler works his way to full guard. Good work.
Huerta stands up over Strangler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Strangler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Strangler is trying to keep Huerta in close.
Huerta being controlled here momentarily.

Huerta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huerta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huerta throws and elbow that misses. Strangler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Huerta's guard. Nice move by Strangler!

Strangler stands up and waves to Huerta to follow him.
Huerta shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strangler but Strangler pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Strangler tries to clinch up.
Strangler lands a nice looking body kick.
Huerta swats away the attempt to clinch by Strangler.

Strangler cracks Huerta with a big right hand and Huerta goes down!

Huerta is rocked!
Huerta looks gassed!
Huerta can't keep his opponent in guard - Strangler advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Huerta is still in real trouble! Can Strangler finish him?
Strangler frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Strangler is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Stud Strangler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Strangler gets a clinch.
Huerta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Strangler is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Huerta seems to have recovered his senses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Strangler.
Strangler putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Huerta in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Strangler lands a knee to the head.
Strangler is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Strangler prevents the takedown attempt.
Stud Strangler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Huerta.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Strangler connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Huerta badly! Huerta tumbles to the floor and Strangler stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
