PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between big black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ryan vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). black comes to the cage accompanied by my life. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, big black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ryan vader!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
black scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like ryan vader has been cut.
vader fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. black looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
black stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and black wants it to stay on the feet.
vader looks to land a combination. black sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
vader tries to clinch but black moves out of range.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
black controlling vader's posture.
black keeping full guard, as vader tries to pass.
vader stays in close to black's body and controls the position.

Let's hope that vader has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
vader trying to control but black is working from the bottom.
vader really doesn't want to stay on the ground with black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
vader has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of black is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
vader content to stall in guard here.
black not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
vader is looking to stand up but black won't let him.
vader slips nicely into half guard.
black is looking to control vader's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can black avoid being mounted?
black tries to get to full guard but vader has control of the leg.

black preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

black is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but vader pulls his head out easily.
vader wants to lay and pray for a moment but black keeps working.
vader looks gassed!
vader seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

black has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for vader. Oh but black has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! vader goes limp - he's gone! black jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
