Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Walker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonjasky lands with a hook. Walker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Walker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bonjasky as he avoids it easily.
Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bonjasky's waist but Bonjasky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.
Bonjasky turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bonjasky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bonjasky connects with a solid leg kick.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Bonjasky shows good takedown defense.
Remy Bonjasky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Walker.

Walker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bonjasky sprawls well initially but Walker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Walker stops Bonjasky from getting back to his feet.

Walker wants to work for an arm triangle but Bonjasky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bonjasky tries to kick Walker off but Walker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bonjasky trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bonjasky throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Bonjasky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Bonjasky bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Walker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bonjasky lands a nice shot that snaps Walker's head back.
Bonjasky lands a head kick. Walker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Bonjasky slaps away a takedown attempt from Walker, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Bonjasky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bonjasky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Walker is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Bonjasky! Walker is out on his feet! Bonjasky rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Walker is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Walker is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
