Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Issac James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Graves!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James moves into range and clinches up with Graves.
Graves tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. James smiles and moves away.
Graves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Graves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
James sneaks back into half guard.
James preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Graves wants to work for an arm triangle but James is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
James is trying to control but can't.

Graves is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. Graves eventually gives up the hold.

Graves looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Graves is trying to control the action in half guard but James is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Graves uses his free foot to push down on James's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for James.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Graves with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Graves has control of James's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and James regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Graves is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but James is surviving well by controlling Graves's body position as best he can.

Graves drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
James can't keep his opponent in guard - Graves advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Graves is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. James is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. James flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Graves anticipates the leg and manages to get behind James and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Graves slips an arm under James chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Graves has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Graves is squeezing on James like an anaconda would it's prey. James fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
