Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between KooK Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Domination. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angle shoots in and drives through. Connor sprawls well.
Connor misses with a body shot.
Angle throws a nice looking combination but Connor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Angle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Connor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Connor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Connor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Angle tries to bum rush Connor with a series of wild strikes but Connor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Connor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Angle is defended easily by Connor.

Angle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Connor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Connor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Connor wants to stand but Angle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Angle is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Angle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
