The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rai moves in looking to clinch but Kauri pushes him off.
Rai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kauri moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No luck for Kauri with that takedown attempt.
Rai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kauri paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kauri shoots for a takedown but Rai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rai should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rai. Kauri does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kauri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
