Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joh Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ortiz's choice of entrance music: Here comes the boom. Joh Jah had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz throws a half hearted mid kick.

Jah has managed to clinch.
Jah scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jah lands with a light punch inside.
A body shot lands from Jah.
Jah lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jah scores with a shot to the side of Ortiz's head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jah.
Jah lands a left hand.
Jah lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Jah pushes Ortiz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jah pushes off an throws an elbow but Ortiz leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Jah is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ortiz is defending well for now.

It looks like Tito Ortiz has been cut.
Jah lands with a short shot to the head.
Jah lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Jah is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ortiz can't fight it off and eventually Jah manages to take the fight to the floor. Ortiz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jah gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jah's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Jah lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ortiz or not.

Jah manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Jah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away.

Ortiz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jah is looking to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tito Ortiz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jah tries to lock up and control but Ortiz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Joh Jah showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jah, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
