PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Newton Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garry Dupuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff. Dupuis has chosen Warriors Of Time by Black Tide as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Newton Carlos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Garry Dupuis!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupuis tries to clinch but Carlos moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dupuis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carlos on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Dupuis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Newton Carlos has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dupuis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carlos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dupuis walks away with a smile on his face. Carlos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
