The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo lands a big right hand that sends Belfort crashing to the mat! Araujo stays standing though and waves Belfort back to his feet!
It looks like Gabriel Belfort has been cut.
Belfort scores with a decent looking hook.
Belfort throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Araujo fails to land with a series of punches.
Araujo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Belfort walks straight into a right hand from Araujo - that's dropped him! Araujo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Belfort from any more punishment! Belfort complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
