And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Crocodile!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vestuvich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crocodile's guard.

Crocodile looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vestuvich tries to free his leg and advance position but Crocodile is retaining full guard.
Vestuvich wants to stand but Crocodile is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Crocodile wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Vestuvich is now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Crocodile keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Vestuvich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crocodile won't be happy with that.

Vestuvich takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Vestuvich is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crocodile sees it coming and defends easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Crocodile wants to control but Vestuvich is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Crocodile is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Crocodile is refusing to be controlled, as Vestuvich sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vestuvich shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Crocodile napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Crocodile is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Vestuvich really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vestuvich creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Crocodile is looking for a sweep. Vestuvich is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Junior Crocodile has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
