The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonnet connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Lacerda shoots in and bounces Bonnet off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lacerda won't allow Bonnet to sweep him here.

Bonnet is not content to let Lacerda control the position.

Bonnet is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lacerda off and has taken his back!

Lacerda is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bonnet knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bonnet for a finish.

Lacerda is trying to stick to Bonnet 's back but Bonnet is turning into Lacerda. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lacerda's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bonnet .

Lacerda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lacerda has the hooks in. Bonnet is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The referee is taking a good look at Bonnet as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Lacerda!
