Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Doball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bader Cier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cier is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Elephant Man ft. Ding Dong - Dip Again. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cier has Doball up against the ropes in a clinch.
Doball looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Cier breaks from the clinch.

Cier rushes Doball and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Doball changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cier fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No luck for Doball with that takedown attempt.
Cier ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cier scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Cier throws a front kick that sends Doball stumbling back into the ropes.
Doball avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Doball is trying to maintain a safe position but Cier gets an underhook and turns Doball into the ropes.

Cier manages to break the clinch.

Doball shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cier manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Doball drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cier dives on top into guard.
Doball really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cier postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Doball is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cier, into his guard.

Cier looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Cier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doball defends well.
Cier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Cier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doball doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doball manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cier is looking for a triangle but Doball pushes his legs off easily.
Doball might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Doball is looking to stand up but Cier won't let him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Doball doesn't manage to clinch there - Cier circles away.
Cier tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Doball takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bader Cier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Doball changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cier tries to avoid it but Doball manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cier to the ground. Cier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doball is defended easily by Cier.

Cier tries to close the distance and clinch but Doball swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Doball sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Doball takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A jab from Cier finds it's way through Doball's defenses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doball looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Doball looks to land a combination but Cier avoids it well.
Doball closes the distance and clinches up with Cier, looking for a takedown. Doball pushes Cier against the ropes but Cier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Cier holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Doball's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Doball tries to stall but Cier uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Doball keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cier's efforts to push away.
