PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. prodigy- omen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ronnie Carlton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronnie Carlton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Average Joe!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Joe dodges the punch combination from Carlton.
No joy there for Carlton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carlton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Joe slips a jab and a cross from Carlton.
Carlton could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Joe closes the distance and clinches.

Joe is trying to trip Carlton. He has hold of a leg but Carlton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Joe persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Joe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Carlton throws his legs up looking for a submission but Joe uses it to pass to side control.
Joe wants to stand but Carlton is controlling his arm.

Joe decides to take the fight back to the feet.
