Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smit comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be Touched. Paul Smit could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Junior Felix's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Smit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Junior Felix!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felix blocks a head kick by Smit.
Felix misses with a double jab.

Smit lands a head kick that stumbles Felix and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like Junior Felix has been cut.
Smit seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Smit wants to control from the top but Felix keeps moving.
Felix manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Felix throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Smit working to try and regain half guard.
Felix cracks Smit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Felix connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smit taking shots to the head.

Smit is rocked!
Felix working the ground and pound effectively.
Oh Smit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Felix has hold of Smit's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smit manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Felix loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Smit scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Felix land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Felix stands and salutes the crowd.
