Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taras Salo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tol-Odinochestvo. Sven Hammer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salo throws out a loose jab but Hammer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hammer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hammer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Salo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hammer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Salo's guard.

Hammer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hammer wants to control from the top but Salo keeps moving.
Hammer postures up in Salo's guard and throws a big left but Salo blocks it.

Hammer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hammer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hammer distracts Salo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hammer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Salo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hammer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hammer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Hammer works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

It looks like Taras Salo has been cut.

Hammer has hold of Salo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Salo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hammer cranks the arm and Salo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Salo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
