Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Gluhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gluhov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Valentine sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Gluhov to the ground! Valentine dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Konstantin Gluhov has been cut.
Gluhov is in a horrible position here. Valentine smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Valentine unloads with some shots from mount but Gluhov bucks and avoids them well.

Valentine throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gluhov blocks it with crossed arms.

Valentine has Gluhov pressed against the cage, preventing Gluhov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Valentine is looking to control Gluhov's arms but Gluhov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Valentine has his back to the cage.

Oh, another knee lands and Gluhov is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Gluhov doesn't seem to be complaining.
