The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
toole throws a nice outside leg kick.
toole looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A head kick misses from toole.

toole darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bell is trying to stand back up but toole is controlling him

toole seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

toole decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bell is looking to clinch but toole is avoiding it.

toole forces Bell back against the cage and clinches.
A right hook to the body lands for toole.

toole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
toole misses with a wild combination.

toole fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bell sprawls well initially but toole persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
toole not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Bell kicks toole off and gets back to his feet.
Bell wants to clinch

and toole moves into the clinch.

Bell manages to break the clinch.

toole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bell!
