Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Totoy Bibo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Okabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenji Okabe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bibo slips under a jab.
Kenji Okabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bibo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bibo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Okabe works his way to full guard. Good work.
Okabe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Okabe wants to sweep but no luck.
Okabe looking for subs off his back but Bibo has passed one foot through into half guard.
Bibo is trying to control the action in half guard but Okabe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bibo is pressing down on Okabe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Okabe is holding on for now.
Bibo thows a huge punch but Okabe dodges it nicely.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Bibo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Okabe's guard.
Bibo wants to control from the top but Okabe keeps moving.
Bibo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Okabe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bibo, into his guard.
Okabe has gone for a leg lock! Bibo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Okabe's guard.

Bibo wants to control from the top but Okabe keeps moving.
Okabe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bibo defends it easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Okabe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bibo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Okabe looks gassed!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bibo with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Totoy Bibo dominated that round.

Bibo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Okabe was covering up waiting for the punch and Bibo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bibo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Okabe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bibo has managed to get both his arms back between Okabe's legs - danger averted.

Bibo is looking to work some ground and pound but Okabe has wrist control.

Okabe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bibo is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kenji Okabe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bibo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Okabe did well to prevent Bibo getting side control.
Bibo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Okabe keeps working.
The fighters are battling for position here. Okabe manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Totoy Bibo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Okabe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bibo's guard.

Okabe drops back looking for a leg! Bibo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bibo manages to kick Okabe off! Okabe jumps back into Bibo's guard.
