The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oliva.
Escobar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oliva shoots for a double leg takedown but Escobar sprawls well. He's pushed Oliva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oliva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Escobar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Oliva with that takedown attempt.
Felix Escobar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biscuit Oliva.

Oliva tries for a takedown but Escobar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Escobar leaves Oliva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It looks like Biscuit Oliva has been cut.
Escobar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
