Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes into the arena with Remedy-Seether blaring out of the sound system. Jimmy Taylor had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jimmy Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a series of punches but Hardy avoids them all with ease.
Taylor misses with a two punch combination.
Taylor gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hardy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taylor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taylor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taylor!
You can see the frustration on Hardy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Taylor wants to stand but Hardy has his arm trapped.
Taylor gets to mount! Hardy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Hardy shoots in but Taylor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hardy, as that shot connected.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hardy uses his free foot to push down on Taylor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Taylor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gavin Hardy dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Nice takedown defense from Taylor. No joy for Hardy on that attempt.
Taylor tries to bum rush Hardy with a series of wild strikes but Hardy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Horrible takedown by Hardy or perhaps it was just good defense by Taylor which made him look bad.

Hardy has hold of Taylor's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Taylor seems comfortable defending it but Hardy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Taylor is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Taylor is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hardy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
