Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Takata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wallace tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A leg kick checked by Wallace.
Wallace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takata moves away.
Wallace checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Wallace lands with an overhand left.
Wallace takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Takata scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Takata looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wallace wants to improve his position but Takata is controlling well.
Takata thows a huge punch but Wallace dodges it nicely.
Wallace is trying to control but can't.
Takata slips a nice elbow through Wallace's hands, connecting with Wallace's forehead.

Wallace is rocked!
Takata is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Wallace is hurt! He's hurt bad - Takata fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Wallace from any more punishment! Congratulations to Takata! Great finish!
