Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kiko Kabala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Fanning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fanning lands a jab to the nose.
Kabala swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fanning pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kabala feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fanning sprawling to the canvas! Fanning rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kabala finish him?!
Fanning is rocked!
Kabala lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fanning takes a step back to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kabala tries for a takedown but Fanning sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fanning has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fanning is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fanning misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fanning cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kabala is in a horrible position here. Fanning smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's time! Kabala's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fanning fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kabala sprawls well initially but Fanning persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fanning connects with a nice short shot to Kabala's temple.
Fanning has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kabala is bucking up trying to escape but Fanning cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
BOOM! Fanning connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kabala knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fanning on the ground.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fanning has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kabala's face.
